Don Gale’s construction background began as a remodeling contractor in a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio, since most home construction there is done on 50-150 year old homes in established residential neighborhoods.

Don Gale & Associates was founded and built its first homes in 1986 in Duluth, Georgia. The company consisted of Don and his wife, Melodie. The company was opened with an emphasis on quality and value. “Our name is on our company because we are proud of every home we build and want people to know it is ours. I live in a community that we built and almost always have. I like the opportunity to get to know my customers on a personal level. I still work with every customer in the construction aspects of the transaction, go to my own home closings, and remain accessible to them after the sale in case they need help. It’s a great relationship, I can help educate them on the process and they will help me to design their next home.”

For a period of time, the construction projects were limited to older home rebuilds and custom homes near Lake Lanier. Don Gale spent 25 years working as a real estate broker, agent or manager dealing with new construction and sales primarily in Gwinnett County, Georgia. He has personally dealt with over 7,000 new home transactions as an agent, broker, manager or builder. It’s this experience that is helpful in designing and building the homes that today’s buyer wants, and just as importantly, homes that will maintain their value into tomorrow.
